Unlike QR codes which can degrade or get covered in dust, or magnetic tape which limits path shifts, Laser SLAM utilizes 2D/3D LiDAR sensors to build a spatial cloud map. It allows path reprogramming dynamically through software fleet control, resulting in lower long-term infrastructure upkeep.
